Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a current NYS certification in School Social Work Provides support, counseling and case management services to individual students to address personal, social, or emotional issues related to their educational progress and development. Consults with students, parents, teachers, administrators and members of both the school and the student services team to define and implement developmentally appropriate learning strategies, behavioral interventions, as well as socio-emotional supports for students. Works closely with staff members, parents and other specialists to assist in the assessment, planning and program development for at-risk students and/or those referred to the Child Support Team.
