Job Description RESPONSIBLITIES: The school Social Worker will provide assistance with home, school, or personal adjustment problems of children. DUTIES: Provide counseling and support for children whose difficulties in school stem from problems in the home or community. Provide outreach and casework services to parents of children who are having difficulty in school. Consult and advise other school personnel on cases in order to modify a pupil's behavior or to provide a liaison between the school and the home. Establish a liaison with local and county agencies in order to provide a continuum of services on a referral and consultative basis. Provide feedback to school personnel regarding active cases, which had been referred for assistance.
