To provide appropriate social and counseling services for students and their families to support the emotional well-being of the students, thus increasing their learning readiness. The position is responsible for facilitating communication between students' concerns about academic, emotional, or social problems, mediating conflict between students and teachers and improving parent and teacher relationships. Including, but not limited to assist with college applications, refer students to psychologists and other mental health professionals, and make recommendations to academic boards to improve learning conditions.
