Job Description 2026-2027 Special Education Teacher Slate Valley Unified Union School District is seeking a licensed special education teacher to support identified students in grades K-6. Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction in classrooms, in small groups, and individually in the basic skill areas, as well as supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. Experience in teaching early literacy and reading is preferred. Small caseload, mentoring, and instructional coaching will be available to the selected candidate. Professional educator/special educator license is required or the candidate must be eligible for a provisional license in special education.
