Job Description POSITION TITLE: Senior Accountant REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Financial Services BEGINNING DATE: Open Until Filled KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Considerable knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Considerable knowledge of governmental accounting methods, procedures, and financial practices. Ability to interpret and apply federal and state fiscal regulations. Ability to analyze and correct financial problems and bookkeeping errors. Ability to prepare interpretive and analytical accounting and financial statements and reports. EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a bachelor's degree in business or other related field with substantial accounting coursework required.
