Job Description The special education teacher in the Vistas Program at KMS will have a caseload of students and will provide specially designed instruction for social skills, academic and executive functioning skill interventions. Students in the program have an educational code of Autism (Level 1) or Social Communication Disorder. The characteristics of students served in the Vistas Program have difficulty with perspective-taking, managing transitions, initiating tasks, and regulating emotions when social demands increase. The special educator is the central point of contact for general education teachers, ensuring they understand the students' accommodations.
