Job Description TITLE: Speech Teacher, Speech Language Therapist/Pathologist TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 Month REPORTS TO: Building Principal TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES: Speech-Language Therapist/Pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication and cognitive-communication in (K-12) students, performing such duties as: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language and communication disorders. Provide speech/language therapy services as determined by the IEP Consult with teachers and parents regarding the students' progress Maintain attendance, ongoing evaluation, and progress records Ability to work with children with speech and language deficits both in the classroom and in an itinerant setting.
