Job Description NATURE OF WORK Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' understanding, appreciation of the art of music, including listening to a wide range of musical genre, periods and styles; teaching guitar, jazz ensemble, concert band, and percussion; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; developing lesson plans; modeling the necessary skills to performing assigned tasks; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. To identify, promote and develop each student's talents in vocal and instrumental musical expression.
