Job Description General Definition of Work The Instructional Specialist, under moderate supervision, performs instructional programs support work with limited decision-making discretion supporting master teachers and classroom teachers by promoting effective instructional practices and enhancing student learning outcomes. Employee collaborates with educators to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, provide professional development opportunities, and assess instructional effectiveness. Employee performs school based and district level work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures as an expert instructional specialist under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of School Performance.
