Job Description NOTICE OF VACANCY February 20, 2026 POSITION: SENIOR NAVAL SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR (SNSI) LOCATION: Huntingtown High School POSITION SUMMARY: The SNSI is responsible for the instruction and operation of the NJROTC unit, including teaching a multi-subject curriculum, instructing in military drill and extra-curriculars, and counseling students about the NJROTC program. The SNSI ensures policies and procedures relative to the administration of the NJROTC program are met. Under direction of the school principal, the SNSI, in conjunction with the NSI, plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students and provides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure student success.
