Job Description The Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio is seeking a Adolescent Literacy Specialist TERM: Full-time (205-day contract) JOB SUMMARY: Provide professional development, technical assistance, instructional coaching to build client district capacity to support the implementation of effective adolescent literacy instructional and assessment strategies across multiple grade levels and content areas. Provide leadership to clients in establishing effective instructional programs that lead to increased student achievement. The Adolescent Literacy Specialist will be required to effectively identify the needs of assigned schools in order to prioritize, schedule, organize, and provide technical assistance so that students in grades K-12 are able to close reading achievement gaps by aligning work to Ohio's Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement and Ohio's Coaching Model.
