Job Description Title: Teacher (Early Childhood/Preschool Intervention Specialist) Qualifications: •Possession of baccalaureate or higher degree in an approved program for special education, early childhood, or related field •ODE Early Childhood Intervention Specialist license or ability to obtain a temporary license •HQT •Strong knowledge of IDEA requirements/guidelines and Ohio's Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities •Required criminal background check •Meets USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Reports To: Superintendent/Designee Job Goal: Provide an appropriate and quality early childhood educational program for children with disabilities and also provide an educational opportunity for typically developing children to serve as social and academic role models (peers) in the classroom.
