Job Description WRSD is seeking a skilled ASL Speciailst to provide comprehensive language program for students who are deaf and hard of hearing. To implement individual educational plans within the school's curricular framework, to subscribe to and support the school's mission. Primary Duties Assess the language needs of each child and plan an appropriate language program. Assess educational materials and be an active participant in the selection of said materials in conjunction with administrators. Provide language instruction as determined by individualized educational programs. Participate in the writing of each child's educational plan and attend team reviews. Provide written quarterly progress reports as appropriate. Evaluate each student's American Sign Language development using formative assessments regularly.
