Job Description The job of Reading Specialist was established for the purposes of supporting students and teachers to ensure that all students are reading at or above grade level. Experience: Minimum of five years' experience as a classroom teacher Education: Master's degree in Reading/English Language Arts or Curriculum/Instruction with an emphasis in literacy instruction. Certification: Must hold or be eligible to hold NH Reading and Writing Specialist #0037 certification or highly-qualified teacher (HQT) status if the endorsement falls on the annual Critical Shortage List.
