Job Description The New Philadelphia City School District is seeking a Reading Teacher (Title) at York Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must meet one or more of the following qualifications: Have a K-12 reading endorsement Completed a master's degree with a major in reading or literacy Earned a passing score on a rigorous test of principles of scientifically research-based reading instruction (Praxis 5205-formerly Praxis 5203) Holds an applicable license (PK-3, 4-9, or K-12 intervention specialist) issued on or after July 1, 2017 The successful applicant will be responsible to provide small group intervention to students at York Elementary. This is a full-time teaching position.
