Job Description TITLE: Middle School Art Teacher - [School] POSITION OVERVIEW: The Art Teacher at Moore Middle School will foster creativity and artistic expression for students in grades 6-8, using a variety of media and techniques. The teacher will also provide behavioral support in alignment with school-wide practices and assess student progress to inform instruction. The role requires collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and a strong commitment to equity and inclusive education. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Instruction & Curriculum Development Develop and deliver standards-based art lessons across multiple grade levels (Pre-K to 5). Teach visual art using a wide range of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking and clay.
