Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW: Pre-K Special Ed Ed Tech III (Full Time) - Multiple Openings District Wide We are seeking several Pre-K Special Ed Education Technicians to provide dedicated classroom support to Pre-K programs at a variety of elementary schools-East End, Lyseth, Presumpscot, Reiche, Rowe, Talbot-as well as one of our partner sites, Catherine Morrill Day Nursery. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and knowledge of early childhood curriculum, strategies, and classroom management. The candidate will support the classroom teacher in building student school readiness by helping to create a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment. A working knowledge of the Maine Early Learning Development Standards and experience with Pre-K for ME curricula, Teaching Strategies Gold and Second Step curriculum, are preferred.
