Job Description TITLE: Pre-K Educational Technician III - Multiple Openings at Talbot Community School POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools seeks dedicated Educational Technician III's for the Pre-K program at Talbot Community School (multiple openings available). A successful candidate will demonstrate experience with and knowledge of early childhood curriculum, developmentally appropriate practice, and classroom management. They will support the classroom teacher in building student school readiness by helping to create a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment. Working knowledge of the Maine Early Learning Development Standards, Pre-K for ME curricula, and Teaching Strategies Gold is preferred. A successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children, bring an equity-oriented approach to their instruction, and will hold all students to high expectations, recognizing that some may need more support to meet those expectations....
