Job Description TITLE: ESL Program Specialist LOCATION: CIA/Federal Programs SALARY: Teacher Salary Scale TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 months REPORTS TO: Director of Federal Education Programs JOB GOAL: To provide assistance to administration and staff in the areas of compliance, student placement, and services that incorporate best practices for English Learners to meet their academic needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college/university North Carolina Teaching Certificate K-12 English as a Second Language Teaching Experience and experience with training educators DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works toward continuous improvement and implementation of ESL program guidelines for Grades K-12.
