Job Description Summary: The dean of students serves as part of the instructional leadership team for the school in conjunction with the principal, assistant principal, and other key staff in an administrative capacity. This position assists in providing instructional support, maintaining student discipline, evaluating staff, communicating with parents, and supervising extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Qualifications: Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in a middle school or secondary endorsement as well as an Administration and Supervision endorsement or have fulfilled all coursework and testing requirements for such endorsement.
