Provide instructional support to students identified as deaf or hard-of-hearing (DHH) at the SAISD RDSPD cluster sites to ensure a quality educational program based on federal and state standards and on sound instructional practices. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Participate in the response to intervention, referral, and assessment processes of students with hearing loss. 2. Assist school and department staff in interpreting medical and educational records pertaining to hearing loss for eligibility and for instructional planning. 3. Assist school staff in obtaining medical reports needed to establish/continue eligibility for AI services. 4.
