Job Description The Amherst Public Schools are currently seeking applicants for an ELL Paraeducator at Amherst Middle School. This is a full-time and school-year position. The ELL paraprofessional assists students, ESL and general education teachers, school staff, and families of ELs in the following manner: Manages and assists individuals and small groups of ELLs, separately at times, under the direction of supervisors(s) for the purpose of practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts and assisting students in reaching their academic goals and grade level standards. Provides classroom support through interpreting and translating instruction and information introduced by the teacher into students' native language.
