Multi-level evening classes will meet on Monday and Wednesdays evenings for 2.5 hr/session. The successful candidate will preferably have prior experience teaching ELL in Adult Education programs and be well versed in multicultural and differentiated learning. Job Description PreK--Grade 5 Summer School Teacher The Vernon Summer Learning Program is looking for teachers to teach Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 this summer of 2026. The Vernon Summer Learning Program runs four days a week, from June 29th - July 30th, Monday - Thursday. The program takes place at Center Road Elementary School. The program hours for students is 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (PreK is 8 -10 am). The program hours for teachers is 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (PreK is 7:30-10:30am) in order to include an hour of teacher planning time. Teachers will be with only their class for the entire day. Elementary teachers will be responsible for teaching Literacy, Numeracy and Enrichment. The classroom will be comprised of students with and without disabilities.
