Job Description TITLE: Pre-K Ed Tech III - Peaks Island Elementary POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools is seeking a kind and competent Ed Tech III to support the Pre-K Program at Peaks Island Elementary School. The selected Ed Tech will assist the Pre-K Teacher by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning and well-being. Duties include helping with lunch prep and clean up duties for Pre-K students, preparation of curriculum materials, curriculum implementation, shared monitoring of students in the classroom and on the playground, and assisting with general classroom management. Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to assist in the K classroom to support early learning. We seek teammates who are positive, collaborative, and effective communicators, and who will contribute actively to both the classroom and the larger PPS community.
