Job Description Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for Mentor Development Specialists . Working under the Coordinator of Educator Growth and Development, the successful candidate will serve as a mentor and district liaison, supporting new teachers and providing direct mentoring and professional support to first, second, and third year non-tenured teachers. This position plays a critical role in strengthening new teacher induction, improving teacher effectiveness, and increasing retention across the district. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills while in this role. This is an hourly position without benefits funded through the Title IIA grant , with a maximum of 22 hours per week.
