Job Description General Definition of Work The elementary school literacy facilitator, under moderate supervision, performs intermediate-level work with limited decision-making discretion to support effective implementation of reading and writing programs by providing leadership, knowledge, and support to enable teachers to meet high expectations. The position is a resource for literacy initiatives, which are shared with classroom teachers through collaboration, coaching, monitoring and professional development activities. Employee performs school-based work to carry out Board of Education policies under the direction of the school principal.
