Job Description Position Title: Tier 3 Behavior Intervention Teacher Department: School Reports To: Program Director FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY: Creates a flexible early childhood/elementary environment favorable to learning and personal growth; utilizes knowledge, skills and experience with behavior management, trauma-informed instruction and Social Emotional Learning Programs; utilizes research-based de-escalation techniques and strategies to assist students in managing behaviors; establishes effective rapport with pupils; motivates pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for early childhood/elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; establishes good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
