Job Description QUALIFICATIONS: A valid New York State teaching certificate in: Mathematics (Grades 7-12) and Mathematics (Grades 5-9) or Mathematics 5-6 Extension or Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) or any combination of certifications that will allow the candidate to be the primary teacher of Math in grades 5-9. Demonstrated successful classroom experience at the middle school level with a focus on student achievement in mathematics.
