Job Description General Definition of Work The high school teacher, under moderate supervision, performs instructional work with limited decision-making discretion, providing leadership in the educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for all students. The teacher supervises, monitors, and evaluates students while developing lesson plans to ensure all student needs are met. Employee performs school-based work to carry out Board of Education policies under the direction of the principal.
