Job Description TITLE: Ed Tech III, Early Literacy - Talbot Community School POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools has an Early Literacy Ed Tech III opening at Talbot Community School. Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Literacy Ed Tech III assists teachers by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning and well-being, with a particular focus on literacy. Duties involve working with students individually and in small groups to support repeated practice, reinforce instruction, assess performance, and motivate learning as well as assisting with classroom management and performing clerical / non-instructional work. Multilingual communication skills are a plus.
