Job Description Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher Position Title: Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher Reports To: ESY Program Coordinator and Director of Special Services Salary Range: Hourly rates range from $39.05 (BA-O) to $74.27 (DOC-30), based on the 2025-26 Salary Appendix of the KAKEA collective bargaining agreement. Position Summary The Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering individualized instruction and supports to students with disabilities participating in the ESY program. The teacher will implement IEP services, collect student progress data, collaborate with related service providers and educational technicians, and maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment that supports students in maintaining critical skills identified by the IEP Team.
