Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The BART Special Education Teacher is a full-time, school-year position reporting to the Special Education Coordinator. In this role, you will manage a caseload of students and serve as their primary advocate, ensuring they have full access to our curriculum. You'll work closely with grade-level teams and paraprofessionals to deliver Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and provide the support students need to succeed in an inclusive classroom. Teachers are typically assigned to specific grade levels to ensure consistency for both students and staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write clear, thorough IEPs that meet all state and federal requirements.
