Job Description The Amherst Public Schools are currently seeking applicants for an ELL Paraeducator at Amherst Middle School. This is a full-time and school-year position. The ELL paraprofessional assists students, ESL and general education teachers, school staff, and families of ELs in the following manner: Manages and assists individuals and small groups of ELLs, separately at times, under the direction of supervisors(s) for the purpose of practicing and/or reinforcing learning concepts and assisting students in reaching their academic goals and grade level standards. Job Description The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is seeking a highly skilled counselor for the high school to provide in-school counseling services for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The School Adjustment Counselor will work with the students with social/emotional issues. The caseload will be focused on providing counseling services for students with IEPs who receive counseling services.The Counselor will partner with other school personnel to meet the needs of the students in the school.
