Job Description To provide direct occupational therapy services for students with special education needs and coordinate individual programs with students, staff, administrators and parents. Responsibilities -Evaluate and assess students referred for special education eligibility determination. -Develop and implement effective programs of intervention for students with special education needs. -Develop IEP goals, benchmarks and assessment methods to monitor a student's progress in the education area identified requiring intervention. -Work collaboratively with all building liaisons, principals and teachers to determine eligibility, need for level, and /or continuation of occupational therapy service. -Carefully monitor student progress toward achievement of goals, and effectively communicate to the TEAM termination of services where appropriate. -Develop programs for efficiently delivering occupational therapy services and managing available resources. -Keep...
