Job Description Title: Special Education Coordinator Department: Education Reports to: Superintendent or Designee Employment Status: Regular/Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Description: Oversees and administers special needs programming at the building level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure safety of students, taking all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Attend departmental, school-wide, and district-wide teacher's meetings and in-service meetings as required. Collaborate with and support principals relative to the Exceptional Needs Prepare all reports and maintain/oversee such records as required by state law, regulation, or request of the administration for the Exceptional Needs Program.
