Job Description PITT COUNTY SCHOOLS Position Description Position Title: Elementary Behavior Support Assistant Reports To: School Administrator/EC Director Supervises: None 10 months NATURE OF WORK The Elementary Support Assistant provides specific and intensive support to assigned students who exhibit challenging behavioral concerns. This includes direct in class and out of class support, working with students to teach appropriate replacement behaviors, and utilizing effective behavior management strategies to ensure student safety and success. Must be eligible for school bus driver's license (CDL). TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Requires a minimum 48 semester hours of college transfer credits.
