Job Description Bedford Public Schools Invites applications for the position of: English Language Learner Teacher District Description ESL teachers are language development specialists who support English Learners (ELs) in developing the academic language skills necessary to access rigorous grade-level curriculum and instruction. ESL teachers provide direct ESL instruction through a variety of service delivery models, including push-in, pull-out, co-teaching, and/or embedded ESL, while collaborating with educators and families to support equitable access for English Learners. ESL teachers also serve as a resource to schools regarding language acquisition, culturally responsive practices, instructional supports for ELs, and DESE compliance requirements related to English Learner programming.
