Job Description Bedford Public Schools Invites applications for the position of: Special Education Liaison (STEP - Social / Emotional Therapeutic Program) FY27 Description : The position is for a Special Education liaison to work within the Davis School STEP program, a social/emotional therapeutic program serving grades K-2. This position will primarily include overseeing small group instruction for students who are unable to access the inclusion setting for targeted areas. Additionally, the position includes working collaboratively with the STEP/Bridge teams (including the BCBA, counselor, and Bridge liaison) and cooperating classroom teachers and administrators. The STEP program uses positive reinforcement and direct skill instruction techniques to increase student skills, coping skills, and positive social connections with peers across settings, while targeting these skills within a self contained classroom setting prior to increased inclusion opportunities....
