Job Description Job Title : Electrician Terms of Employment : 12 Months Pay Grade : 114 Job Summary: The purpose of this job is to provide skilled electrical services to install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical systems in school facilities. Essential Duties Performs maintenance and repair work on school buildings, facilities, and structures; completes work and ensures safety, aesthetics, proper functioning and operations, and compliance with applicable codes, standards, policies, and practices. Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings, including underground cables and overhead wiring. Installs electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, fixtures, switches, and receptacles. Inspects, troubleshoots, assembles, installs, connects, repairs, adjusts, and tests a variety of electrical systems.
