Job Description BELLINGHAM PUBLIC SCHOOLS BELLINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS TITLE: Adjustment Counselor POSITION SUMMARY: The School Adjustment Counselor assists students with academic learning and achievement by providing counseling to identify and address the social-emotional, behavioral, and environmental issues that interfere with the educational process. The School Adjustment Counselor provides prevention, intervention, and referral services for all students. Working with parents/guardians, teachers, adminstrators and community based organizations, the School Adjustment Counselor implements strategies that promote students overall well-being for students.
