Job Description Under the direction of the Mental Health and Disabilities Coordinator, the Behavioral Interventionist provides behavioral support, intervention and case management to clients in order to facilitate their positive adjustment to the classroom expectations, and to strengthen the connection between home, school and the community. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect and document information necessary to perform Functional Behavior Assessments on students with complex behavioral challenges. Develop positive behavior intervention plans for individual students. Train necessary staff to implement Positive Behavior Intervention Plans. Maintain appropriate records for the purpose of continuous progress monitoring. Provide training for Staff in data collection and documentation of various behavior interventions.
