Job Description Position: Reading Tutor Location: Boardman Center Intermediate School Hours: Determined by building principal, not to exceed 29 hours per week Job Description: Center Intermediate School - Reading Tutor(s) Possess either the proper teaching license or an Educational Aide Permit. The applicant must have fulfilled the requirements defined by the Ohio state licensure for grade band, student population, and subject content. Provide one-on-one and small group reading instruction to intermediate school students, focusing on comprehension, fluency, and/or vocabulary development based on district decision rules. Assess student reading levels and progress using standardized tools; adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
