Job Description TITLE OF POSITION: Speech/Language Pathologist LOCATION: Nauset Integrated Preschool DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT OF POSITION: Provide speech and language services to preschool school students with a variety of communication disabilities Conduct evaluation of students Establish goals and write IEPs for students Attend IEP meetings Provide direct speech therapy and consultative services Consult with teachers, parents, caregivers and medical providers Maintain records Report progress Attend and participate at Section 504 Meetings Inventory management, equipment maintenance, data collection Adherence to the Code of Ethics of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Knowledge and skills in the areas of: articulation/phonology, fluency, voice/resonance, receptive and expressive language, literacy, social aspects (pragmatics), cognitive aspects, multiculturalism, augmentative/alternative communication, behavior, hearing,...
