Job Description The Fiscal Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Business Services and is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the district. The position performs accounting, budgeting, grant management, financial reporting, auditing, and compliance functions while assisting in the administration of the district's business office. Responsible for: Process invoices for out-of-district tuition and transportation. Maintain district accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), GASB standards, DESE regulations, and district policies. Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts. Reconcile bank accounts, revolving funds, withholding accounts, and other district financial accounts. Oversee grant revenues, expenditures, reimbursement requests, drawdowns, and required state and federal reporting. Process quarterly Medicaid reimbursement reporting. Assist with budget...
