Job Description Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for the position of Computer Repair Technician . Working with other technicians, this position is responsible for installation, maintenance, and support for technology and assistive technology. Being well versed in computer applications and repair, as well as the ability to provide those services while displaying great customer service, is essential. DUTIES : Install and optimize computers, related equipment, operating systems, and application software. Assess, install, and complete wiring for network data and voice. Troubleshoot hardware and software on computers and related equipment to determine corrective action; repair if practical or refer to vendor for repair. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance cycle as appropriate and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
