Job Description The desired candidate: must have experience working in a bilingual K-2 classroom, the teacher must be bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English, and must have experience using data to drive instructional decisions. General Definition of Work The Spanish Immersion Teacher, under moderate supervision, performs instructional work with limited decision-making discretion, providing leadership in the educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for all students. The teacher supervises, monitors, and evaluates students while developing lesson plans to ensure all student needs are met.
