Job Description General Definition of Work The Middle School Mathematics Teacher provides high-quality instruction aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, supporting students' development of conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and mathematical reasoning. The teacher designs engaging, standards-based lessons; differentiates instruction to meet diverse learner needs; uses formative and summative assessments to monitor progress; and fosters a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in mathematics.
