Job Description General Definition of Work The Executive Director of Student Support Services, under minimal supervision, performs senior level work with extensive decision-making discretion providing strategic leadership and oversight of districtwide initiatives that focus on student physical, mental, and behavioral health for assigned schools. Position supports student academic achievement through a focus on the needs of the whole-child, and oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive programs in student health, behavioral health, psychology, social work, crisis response, and coordinated school and community wellness. Employee performs advanced and supervisory work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to a wide variety of academic programs and activities under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Student Services.
