The Job: SmartStart Education seeks a small group Reading Specialist tutor to work with small groups of third grade students on Wednesdays and Fridays. Each small group consists of 1-4 students. Each group consists of students who have been identified as students who are struggling with fundamental Reading and English Language Arts skills. The tutor will work with each group several times throughout the week at an elementary school in Copley, OH. Groups will take place within the classroom (push-in services) or outside of the classroom (pull-out services). Tutors should be flexible and comfortable with both settings.
