Job Description JOB SUMMARY A specialist who evaluates and treats students with communication problems. The SLP is responsible for providing services, screening, and testing in the areas of articulation, language, fluency, and voice to children with speech and language impairments, autism, other health impairments, learning disabilities, cognitive impairments, and emotional disabilities.
